Default 2 Man Union-Bonding Farming Build

Well this was a little test that I did earlier today. Basicly I figured out that you could basicly bring down damage to 0. Slap this on a warrior or ss necro and you have basicly one of the best farming builds out there: a tank that can deal tons of damage that takes 0 damage. How wonderful huh?

From what I know, no such build like this has been written about (and if it has I don't know about it).

This build should work on basicly anything (as long as you modify the tank as needed) (note: by tank I mean any build as I have stated earlier it takes 0 damage reguardless).

Anyways, heres the build (thanks to Baratus for helping me test):

--------------

Warrior/Ritualist
"Full-Impact Warrior"

Strength: 13
Sword: 5 (weapon = for adrenal purposes only)
Tactics: 14

Glad's D, Riposte, Deadly Riposte, Watch Yourself, Dolyak Sig, Heal Sig, For Great Justice, Draw Spirit

---------------

Monk/Ritualist
"Union-Bonder"

Protection Prayers: 12+3
Divine Prayers: 2+2
Channeling: 6
Communing: 11

spirit boon strike, signet of creation, purge conditions (or a hex removal depending on area), union, balthazar's spirit, life barrier {E}, life bond, essence bond

----------------

Now basicly, this is how it works:

1. Monk casts balthazar's spirit on himself
2. Monk casts life barrier and life bond on the warrior
3. Monk waits until energy fully recovers
4. Monk casts essence bond on the warrior

(yes this process may take some time to start up)

5. Warrior aggro's group of monsters or boss
6. Once fully aggro'd warrior does his thing taking care of the monsters/boss
7. As soon as he is fully aggroed, monk casts union in rang of the warrior

(now heres where it gets tricky)

8. Monk uses spirit boon strike to heal the union spirit when life goes down.
9. After about 15-20 seconds (or if spirit is dieing fast) cast signet of creation
10. If spirit is still alive keep casting spirit boon strike

Tip: Use either hex removal or condition removal to remove conditions/hexes from the warrior as he is vulnerable to those.

Tip: You can subsitute the warrior for basicly any build (ex. SS Necro works wonders).

Tip: The tank can use draw spirit to bring the spirit to him or closer to him so the monk doesn't have to get close to the aggro.

----------------

Now I will say this again, this is just a test build and it's not totally complete. Tomorrow I will be testing this build with an SS Necro in UW to see if it holds out.

Comments? post here or message me in game @ Tsunami Rain

--edit--
after further testing, the warrior tank seems somewhat lacking while boss farming. I will test to see if touch rangers are any better as well as a mass-degen mesmer.

Purge conditions is a nice condition removal skill. It has a 20 second recharge though.

Since you will always have a spirit near you, you may even consider Mend Body and Soul ritualist skill as it heals and removes one condition at the same time with a short recharge. The down side is you may have to cast it muplite times thereby using more energy, however I guess the only real conditions to worry about would be blind or dazed on your tank.

Do you need divine favour? At level 4 Mend Body and Soul would be restoring 40 health.
